IPOH: The police should be fair when approving permits for rallies during the by-election campaign, says state DAP secretary Nga Kor Ming.
He was disappointed with the police for not approving the party’s application for a rally on grounds that the DAP was not contesting in the by-election.
“As a legitimate party we have every right under the Federal Constitution to campaign,” said Nga, adding that the police had approved 12 permits for Barisan Nasional and only three for Pakatan Rakyat.
