Perak to hold Client’s Day - The Star

THE Perak Government will hold Client’s Day every Tuesday for the people to come forward and air their grouses to the Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamalud-din and state executive councillors.

During Client’s Day, the offices of the Mentri Besar, state exco members as well as those of all district offices and local councils would be open for a meet-the-people session from 8.30am to 5pm.

“Whoever who wants our help or our advice on any issue can see us on that day.

“We may not be able to solve all the complaints but at least it is an avenue for them to meet us directly and inform us.

“After all, they never really had the opportunity to do this before,” he told reporters after chairing the state exco meeting in Ipoh recently.

On a separate matter, Nizar pledged that the new Pakatan Rakyat state government’s cooperation in the continuation of all projects under the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER) initiative.

“We will continue with all policies that are good for the people. This includes all Federal Govern-ment mega projects that were previously planned for the state,” he said.
