Even as Pakatan Rakyat leaders, especially Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, fuel rumours of crossovers by Barisan Nasional members of parliament, the opposition coalition could find itself losing Perak.
Lately, there has been renewed speculation that Pakatan's state assemblymen may hop over to the BN.
Recently, an MP, who was formerly in Gerakan but contested the March 8 general election on a DAP ticket, said several state assemblymen from the Perak coalition would join the BN soon.
Penang MP for Jelutong Ooi Chuan Aun added fuel to the speculation when he wrote in his blog on Tuesday night that efforts to entice BN MPs into the PR fold "will face a setback should defections among Perak state assemblymen to the BN... happen at break-neck pace in the next few days". - Bernama
