Reinstated Perak Religious Department director Datuk Jamry Sury has yet to receive his reappointment letter.
However, Jamry said he had been asked to meet state secretary Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Hashim with regards to the matter on Monday.
He declined to comment on the controversy surrounding his sacking and reappointment to the post.
"I have been advised against talking on the matter by the state secretary," he said when contacted Saturday.
On Friday, Sultan Azlan Shah ordered Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin to reinstate Jamry as Perak Religious Department (JAIP) director with immediate effect, just days after the sacking.
